SENGOKU Aces Joint Training With Olympic Wrestlers!

Takanori Gomi, Satoru Kitaoka, Ryo Kawamura, Hidehiko Yoshida, and Makoto Takimoto visited the national training center in Kita-ku, Tokyo today where they had a public training session with some Japanese wrestlers who are staying there together for the Olympics. Two of them were Shingo Matsumoto and Makoto Sasamoto who will both participate in Greco-Roman Wrestling in Beijing.

Yoshida wrestled with Matsumoto a few times and it seems that Gomi was quite impressive in his Freestyle Wrestling sparring. Gomi said that he has heard that his opponent might be a hard-hitting boxer who has fought in Japan before. It looks like there was a decent amount of press there.
