Ratings! Akiyama Wants Tamura Next
DREAM.5 is over and once again it was a great event. The ratings for the event are already in, this is the first time since DREAM.1 that DREAM was on air the same day of the event and on a prime time slot. The overall ratings were 10.0 (higher than DREAM.1) with Akiyama vs. Shibata getting a 13.7 rating (highest of the night). Akiyama said today at the press conference that he would like to fight Kiyoshi Tamura next.
I would expect a whole lot better ratings for Dream 6. Maybe Hansen and Alverez can fight if they are both alright. Akiyama vs Tamura sounds like a Dynamite fight. Though I would rather see Sakuraba vs Tamura at Dynamite. Looks like Japanese MMA is making a comeback. Long live PRI I mean DREAM.

I don’t know about better ratings for DREAM.6. I don’t think the final 4 of the GP is close to what they wanted from the start. Though if they have some big names in the super fights it could do good.

Yeah Miller is a better oponent for Aki! More of a challange. Miller showed class against Jacaré…
