Middleweight GP Complete! Xande Vs. Sugiura Announced

The SENGOKU Middleweight GP is complete. Kazuhiro Nakamura gets a fight that he should win against Paul Cahoon from England and Jorge Santiago will take on Logan Clark, who went the distance with the prize of the tournament, Kazuo Misaki. Xande Riberio’s opponent has also been announced, it is PRIDE veteran and Pro-Wrestler Takashi Sugiura, who had a good debut in PRIDE against Daniel Gracie, won his second fight against Giant Silva, and lost his third in Pancrase.

Update: The full 8 or 9 fight card and the combination of the semifinals of the Lightweight GP will probably be announced next week. They wish for one of the fights to be in the Featherweight (65 kg) division. The two candidates for Roger Gracie are a Japanese and a foreign fighter who both have competed in SENGOKU before.

  1. I wonder what Featherweight fighters WVR can get maybe Mishima or Hioki!

  2. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone like them were part of the fight.
