The Fight That Has Over A Decade Of History Behind It! Sakuraba Vs. Tamura…
Four fights were announced for FieLDS Dynamite!! today. Kazushi Sakuraba will take on Kiyoshi Tamura in a Middleweight fight that has a lot of history behind it. Joachim Hansen will fight J.Z. Calvan in a top Lightweight fight. Finally, the two semifinals of the K-1 Koshien tournament were also announced to take place at Dynamite!!
Update: It seems that the event finally has a name. FieLDS Dynamite!! ~Yuuki no Chikara 2008~
Yuuki no Chikara = Power of Courage
Update #2: Hansen vs. Calvan is a non-title fight.
Update #3: Sakuraba made some demands on the rules of the fight. He wants a no time-limit fight with open-hand punches.
DREAM event producer Sasahara said that it is difficult to not have a time restriction because of the live telecast. However, he did suggest preparing a special rule with Sakuraba’s demands in mind.
Update #4: The plan is for the event to consist of 10 MMA fights and 6-7 K-1 fights (K-1 Koshien included).
Update #5: It looks like the final fight of the K-1 Koshien tournament will also take place in the same event. Watch the latest uploaded Kakutou Ou for a preview and a look into the lives of the final 4.
Update #6: Here is the video that was shown on the big screen at the first Dynamite!! press conference. It is awesome.

They should fight under U-Style/Catch-Wrestling rules! I don’t want to see another mega-fight with a quick, dissapointing finish (like Tamura vs Funaki)…
I think both are tough enough to not go down from a first strike of the other, especially in this fight.
can someone tell me how is this a huge match in japan?
