#2: The King Has Arrived
King Mo also arrived to Japan on Monday and was interviewed by Sportsnavi on Tuesday. He says that Kawamura is the king of imitation and that he will show who the real king is on Friday. He also says that he aims at a submission victory. He wants to continue winning in Japan and become a SENGOKU champion. Mo is a big fan and has a lot of respect for Hidehiko Yoshida. He respects him and his samurai spirit from the PRIDE days and wants to become like him.
#1: Big Jim York Has Arrived
Big Jim York arrived to Japan on Monday and held a public training session in Tokyo on Tuesday. He has switched gym to the SIAM GYM since his last fight. His last gym was more of a Kickboxing gym while the new one is an MMA gym. He has watched James Thompson’s fights on YouTube. When talking about Thompson’s gong & rush style York said that while he thinks that the speed of his punches are greater than those of Thompson, he doesn’t want the fight to turn into a all-or-nothing type of fight, he wants to fight a smart fight.

The King has also arrived…

Mo is a smart cookie, Hidehiko Yoshida is respected by people from judo and MMA, so this its always good to remind people who you respect because it reflects positively on your image.
Not saying its not true but its also good PR.
Instead of trying to relive the glory days of PRIDE, we need more of an influx of new stars like Mo in Sengoku and DREAM.
That was a great event in my opinion the gp match fights surpased my expectations and were better than dreams. I cant wait for the next round, what match ups do you want to see?
Those were some tough fights to recover from by April 2nd. I hope they do Nam Phan vs Nick Denis, Kanehara vs Chag Sung Jung, Sandro vs Omigawa, and Hioki vs Mann. Who else could we see on this card? Mo vs Arona would be great. Any title defense?
