#5: What Should Overeem Look Out For?

When asked by the Japanese press what point of Remy Bonjasky he should look out for Alistair Overeem answered with a smile that the point to most look out for is his acting. Then he starts wondering what kind of acting Bonjasky will do but stops and says it doesn’t matter if I don’t give him a chance to do any acting.

The interviewer also told Overeem that FEG EP Tanigawa has said that if Bonjasky loses K-1 is over.

#4: Maeda Not Very Confident

Strange things happen before some of Keijiro Maeda’s fights. Before this Mighty Mo was in a traffic accident and Musashi got injured before their fight with him. Now Chalid “Die Faust” is out just three days before the event and Maeda will go up against Melvin Manhoef.

When asked what his impressions of Manhoef are Maeda answered that he (Maeda) is in big trouble. Manhoef is the fighter that he wanted to fight the least out of anyone.

#3: Schilt Vs. Hesdy Gerges TBA?

Commenter Rictor notes that we will have another fight on the card as Semmy Schilt will face Hesdy Gerges in a fight which should be announced tomorrow in Japan if it happens.

#2: Zimmerman Wants Revenge

Zimmerman said at an interview today that he wants a revenge match against Minowaman and another fight with Badr Hari after he beats Aerts.

#1: Complete Card?

Chalid “Die Faust” will not be able to participate so Keijiro Maeda will take his place.

Chalid is out due to problems with getting visa. Also, Semmy Schilt will fight Hesdy Gerges on this card. Schilt was meant to fight Singh Jaideep who refused fighting Sem and Hesdy took this on short notice probably with recommendation from Thom Harrinck (who is his trainer).

It will most probably happen. The news comes from mixfight.nl,one if not the most reliable dutch forum about mma and kickboxing. http://www.mixfight.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=91262&page=5 and http://www.mixfight.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=91307
Also if you’re interested Ninja, Gilbert Yvel was first offered a fight with Kharitonov but refused to take it. Source: http://www.mixfight.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=90970 and Gilbert himself comments about it on fifth page.
Ahaa, and big props to you for covering K-1 :)
