Big Fight! Kawajiri Vs. J.Z. Announced
The rumored fight between Tatsuya Kawajiri and J.Z.Calvan was officially announced at a press conference at the DEEP Official Gym for DREAM.9 today.
Update: DREAM EP Sasahara revealed the current plan for the DREAM Lightweight title at the press conference. Joachim Hansen will face Shinya Aoki for the title at DREAM.10. The winner of that fight will then defend the belt against the winner of Kawajiri vs. J.Z. on NYE.

This is gonna be really nice. This card is just getting better and better.
Rock and roll. The six fights already announced for DREAM.9 are going to be very entertaining. I’m really interested to see who will participate in the remaining 4 fights.
Do you know what Kawajiri said about a fight with Masato? I couldn’t get a good translation but it sounded like he’s more concerned with winning the LW belt. Which is cool, as I like Masato-Gomi more anyway…
Yeah, he says that he is focused on J.Z. now and defeating J.Z. is more important than fighting Masato.

Right now this is a very good card.
If the two possible fights take place it could be an excellent card.
The news about DREAM 10 and the winners facing off on NYE is also excellent news.
I think this is the best card DREAM has put together so far. I’m going to try to get more americans excited about this.
