Dida Vs. Alvarez Official! Lightweight GP Almost Complete

Four new fights for the first ever DREAM event were announced today. Hayato Sakurai will face Hidetaka Monma in a non-tournament fight. Olympic silver medalist in greco-roman wrestling, Katsuhiko Nagata, will take on Cage Force 2007 tournament winner, Artur Oumakhanov. In a Wrestling vs. Judo contest, Mitsuhiro Ishida will face Olympic silver medalist Jung Bukyung from Korea. And as has been heavily rumored, Andre Dida will fight Eddie Alvarez. Also announced as participants were Mirko Cro Cop and Minowaman.

Update: Mirko might face Yoshihiro Nakao in the DREAM event.

Update #2: There will only be seven fights in the Lightweight GP on the March card. The eighth match might take place in April, but if that isn’t possible someone might get seeded into the quarterfinals.
