Kikuta Makes SENGOKU Debut! The Lightweight Division Is Shaping Up

Two new fights have been announced for SENGOKU III, which is just one week away. Sanae Kikuta was supposed to make his SENGOKU debut at SENGOKU I against Phil Baroni, but as Baroni decided to fight in Hawaii instead, Kikuta’s debut has been postponed until June 8th when he faces Chris Rice, who is Zelg Galesic’s teammate and has fought in most MMA promotions in the UK.

The second announced fight is between two bodogFIGHT veterans in the Lightweight division. Rodrigo Damm takes on American Top Teams Jorge Masvidal, who has victories over Yves Edwards and Joe Lauzon, and is currently riding on a 7 fight winning streak. Will the winner of this fight get a spot in the Lightweight GP starting at SENGOKU IV? It looks like Gomi might get some good competition at SENGOKU, despite what most people thought when he signed with them.
