#4: DREAM Vs. SENGOKU Sparring Session
Today, training partners Caol Uno and Eiji Mitsuoka, who will participate in SENGOKU’s Lightweight GP, had a short sparring session. There were over 1000 people in the crowd.

#3: Shadowboxing Game Part II
The record was topped from start to finish today. After the K-1 hour of the day, Susumu Daiguji from K-1’s new 60 kg class was on top with 530 times. But, Shibata later got 551 and passed Daiguji’s score. In the end though, Funaki became the new record holder with his incredible score of 720.

Today at the Akasaka Fight Festival Katsuyori Shibata was announced as a participant for DREAM.5. Shibata said that he would like to fight Yoshihiro Akiyama. Akiyama’s opponent will be announced on Saturday.

It’s kind of funny, but I would really like to see Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Katsuyori Shibata. They’d be busting out powerbombs on each other, taking mid-fight breaks to hype the crowd up…
Would be very beatiful.
I actually also thought that that would be the best match-up. If Minowa can bring back some of the intensity he used to have, the intensity in the ring with those two standing face to face would be incredible.
I think we both know it’s more likely that one will go to Akiyama and the other will go to Kang. Which is a shame, because Minowaman/Shibata could be epic.
Yeah, but I’m not sure about Kang, this is the last fight in his contract, do they want to send him out with a victory if he doesn’t re-sign?
