DREAM.5 Update! Akiyama Vs. Shibata Announced
At a press conference not long ago three additional DREAM.5 fights were announced. Yoshihiro Akiyama will take on Katsuyori Shibata who challenged him last week, Joachim Hansen will fight Black Mamba in the Lightweight GP reserve fight, and UFC veteran Kuniyoshi Hironaka will take on undefeated Motoki Miyazawa in a welterweight bout. Mark Hunt was also announced as a participant.

Awesome. Eight fights announced so far including Mark Hunt’s fight. I wonder how many more they intend to have? It would be nice to see them pass DREAM.1’s count of ten.
Also, if Diaz vs. Sakurai had remained on this card…and CroCop…what an over the top event this would’ve been.
I think the plan is 10 fights. They should announce Hunt’s opponent (JLB is the rumor) and the last fight early next week.
