Fight Order Announced! Roger Gracie Returns At SENGOKU V

The fight order for SENGOKU V has been announced. In the main event Takanori Gomi will face Bang Seung Hwan and in the semi main event Makoto Takimoto will take on Frank Trigg.

Update: WVR are currently negotiating with a Beijing gold medalist.

Update #2: Yuki Kondo will probably participate in the GP if he doesn’t sustain any injuries in his Pancrase fight on August 27th.

Date: August 24th, 2008
Place: Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan

9. Takanori Gomi vs. Bang Seung Hwan

Middleweight Fight:
8. Frank Trigg vs. Makoto Takimoto

Also announced was Yuki Sasaki as a participant of the Middleweight GP and Roger Gracie, Xande Ribeiro, and Jorge Masvidal as participants of the event.

    Masvidal is a lightweight…is he being added to the Lightweight Tournament?

    The lightweigth tournament is only 8-man, so no. Maybe in a reserve fight.
