Gomi Vs. Golyaev! Who Is The Mystery Fighter In The 11th Fight?

Three additional fights for SENGOKU VI were announced today. Takanori Gomi will face Russian Sergey Golyaev who is most known for having fought and lost to Joachim Hansen. In the Middleweight GP reserve fight, as expected, Joe Doerksen will take on Izuru Takeuchi. King Mo’s opponent will be Chute Boxe’s Fabio Silva who last defeated Kazuo Takahashi at SENGOKU III.

At the press conference, WVR PR Kuniyasu revealed that for the possible 11th fight, negotiations are ongoing with a fighter that the Japanese are very familiar with and who hasn’t fought in Japan for around 2 years.

    Maybe it will Gilbert Yvel (last fight in Japan – May 2006) or Antonio Silva (October 2006, HERO’s 7)… I know, ‘Junior’ is suspended by CSAC, but this is Japan, not US. (^_-)

    I dunno. Barnett is supposed to fighting, so I assume it’d be someone for him to fight.

    Volk Atajev fougth for K-1 in July, but I’m not sure is he under long-term contract…
