The CRUSHER Project #2! Trip To Hosei University

In the second event of “The CRUSHER Project” Kawajiri went to Hosei University in Tokyo. In the first part of his visit, he spoke in one of the university lecture rooms about why he got into MMA, his preparations before fights and other things. In the second part, he and the students went to the Judo hall where he demonstrated and explained some fundamental MMA techniques.

It’s a project to make MMA more popular and improve its image in Japan. Despite what foreign fans might think, it seems that the image of MMA in Japan isn’t that good. They have that “tattooed fighter” image compared to K-1, Boxing that have a better image.
