Who’s likely for the Welterweight GP? Will Diaz be there? Does Aoki’s “superfight” status mean he’s not participating in the GP? Also, can’t Daisuke Nakamura make welterweight?

An ideal lineup would include Diaz, Aoki, Sakurai, Shields, Hasegawa, Hironaka, Inoue, Nakamura.

I thought Aoki was going to be in the GP but I’m not sure now. Other names I have read are Sakurai, Diaz, Marcello Garcia, Paul Gauthier, and the winner of Monma/Ikemoto.

Inoue will not be in it, he has a Lightweight KOP title to defend and if he goes to one of the big orgs in the near future it would probably be sengoku.

I hope Hasegawa isn’t in it. Hironaka sounds very possible. Shields would be awesome. Don’t know if Nakamura will go up in weight but it’s not impossible.
