The day after the event the Final 8 did the usual drawing. DRAGO got the first ball and chose A. Kyshenko, who was the second picker, chose E. Petrosyan was next and chose C. The only Japanese left in the 2009 tournament, Yuya Yamamoto, chose B to try to avenge fellow countryman Yoshihiro Sato. Holtzken had the 5th ball and chose G/H. Next up was the first K-1 MAX champion, Albert Kraus, who walked to the D for a very tough quarterfinal. Buakaw picked a rematch with Holtzken which automatically made the last fight Kyshenko vs. Souwer.

The ratings for the event were 10.9% which is slightly better than the MAX Japan GP broadcast. The fight which got the highest rating was Nagashima vs. Kraus which got a strong 17% rating.

    sucks that Nagashima got raped so bad they could of built him up even if he lost his first time in the tournament

    but damn he got embarrassed
