DREAM Welterweight GP Semifinals Official! Ideas For DREAM.10

The DREAM Welterweight GP semifinals were officially announced yesterday and as rumored, Hayato “Mach” Sakurai will face Marius Zaromskis and Andre Galvao will take on Jason High.

Besides the semifinals and finals of the Welterweight GP, DREAM EP Sasahara said that DREAM.10 will consist of a GP reserve fight, a possible Lightweight title fight, and he also wants a Heavyweight fight on the card.

Sasahara also hinted at a DREAM.9 fight announcement soon. Though it’s not definite.

Cool. I wonder if Jay Hieron could show up in the reserve fight? He recently said that DREAM offered him a spot in the GP two weeks before DREAM.8, but he was too far out of fight shape to accept.

And one more fight on the DREAM.9 card would be excellent.

Hieron is fighting on August 1st for Affliction, so you can rule that out. Jake Ellenberger is a name that might be in the reserve fight- he contacted me after getting an offer to fight Ikemoto, but things fell through apparently.

reserve fight is usually between fighters that fought in the GP

so, rule Aoki out, because he is fighting Hansen. that leaves 3 fighters. im guessing they go with Ikemoto vs Alessio
