SENGOKUG! Lightweight Division Special

This weeks SENGOKUG! was mostly about the current SENGOKU Lightweight division picture. Surprisingly Takanori Gomi was also shown as one of the fighters in the division. Thanks to the original uploader.

Who should get the next title shot in the Lightweight division? Yokota if he defeats Schultz, or Mitsuoka? I’m pretty sure they’ll go with Yokota if he wins.

When in doubt when it comes to receiving a special benefit, always go with the Grabaka or J-ROCK fighter.

they don’t give Grabaka any special treatment. After what the Grabaka apeman did, I think that left a sour note between Grabaka and Sengoku.

and Yokota got solid win against Leo Santos. Plus, he does have a win over Hirota. Add that with a win over Schultz (assuming he wins Schultz), he definitely deserves a title shot. Don’t get me wrong, Mitsuoka is a good candidate as well, but he doesnt have a win over Hirota now does he?

Gomi back in Sengoku, huh? I guess that makes sense. I feel bad for the guy that Affliction didn’t work out.

I wonder if Sengoku is going to do more Gold Rush tournaments. Lightheavyweight, middleweight and welterweight division could use more talent in Sengoku.

If Gomi win at World Vale Tudo Japan he should get the next shot because he’s the guy that people will buy tickets to see. Of the candidates Gomi looked the best in his last outing, too. I wouldn’t mind seeing Kitaoka get an automatic rematch either. Yokota’s matches are usually boring, so I don’t really want to see him become champion, which is what he’d become if he challanged while Hirota’s got the belt.

Never knew Maximo was a lw always thought he was bigger. I would like to see Gomi and Chris Horidecki(sp?) throw down. Hirota would be most exciting against a good stand up guy imo.
