SENGOKU XI! Kazunori Yokota Vs. Eiji Mitsuoka Announced

Two new fights for SENGOKU XI on November 7th were announced today. In a Lightweight fight which is planned to decide the next challenger for Mizuto Hirota at SRC on NYE, Kazunori Yokota returns after a KO victory over Ryan Schultz to take on Eiji Mitsuoka, who last submitted Clay French.

In a Heavyweight fight, Big Jim York will get another chance as he takes on Dave Herman, who is fresh off a victory over Don Frye in September.

Update: Yokota said that he will increase his grappling training while Mitsuoka said that he will increase his stand-up training for this fight.

Update #2: Five more main card fights are planned to be added (Santiago vs. TBA, Randleman vs. TBA, Gono vs. TBA, and two Lightweight fights) plus 2 or 3 opening fights.

Update #3: WVR PR Kokuho said that they want to announce the surprise which will be the first of its kind in Japan at the end of this month. However, there are still questions like if the fans will be happy with it. What could it be?

More “surprise” hype? Seems like Japan is learning a few things from Dana White after all.

Yes, they learned how to keep your mob ties on the down low.

Now the japanese need to learn to be condescending douchebags and be good aerobics teachers and theyre set.

Thank god someone taught the japs the concept of surprise announcements,… it is a bold concept that no one has thought of before. I think its Nobel Prize worthy (not that its worth much).
