Pancrase 2009 Changing Tour 10.25! Kawamura Vs. Shoji Set
Pancrase held their sixth Changing Tour card of the year this past Sunday in a sold out Differ Ariake in Tokyo (1,800).
Undefeated Lightweight ISAO was in his first fight that didn’t end with him winning by KO/TKO as he defeated Hiroki “AB” Aoki due to disqualification after a groin strike only 50 seconds into the first round.
The fighter who will surely be SRC’s poster boy once they start their Bantamweight division, Seiya Kawahara, defeated Ryota Sasaki by unanimous decision after 2 rounds.
Judoka with power, Shunsuke Inoue of Yoshida Dojo, took his third victory in 3 months when he stopped Kazuhiro Hamanaka of Sakuraba’s Laughter7 gym by punches in the first round.
Inoue participated in the DEEP Megaton GP last year where he lost in the final by split decision. He has now dropped to Light Heavyweight and has after this victory been announced to face champion Ryo Kawamura in a title fight at Pancrase’s final Changing Tour card in December. Look for Inoue to enter SRC in the future if he keeps winning.
Bantamweight King Of Pancrase Manabu Inoue took another big victory since dropping down to Bantamweight when he defeated the legendary Masahiro Oishi by unanimous decision after three rounds. Inoue defeated Kawahara for the title and is also someone who should be in a possible Bantamweight GP.
In the main event of the evening, Yuki Kondo drew with the Pink Typhoon Yuji Hisamatsu. Kondo should win fights like this but it looks like his fighting age is even higher than expected.
