Referee Kakuda Suspended! 3 Months

K-1 referee Nobuaki Kakuda was on the 11th suspended from refereeing for 90 days. Which means that he won’t referee at the K-1 Finals or on NYE.

The reason for the suspension is the Takeda vs. Kraus K-1 MAX fight, in which the K-1 rules director thought Kakuda didn’t do a good job between thinking of the fighters damage and the fight being on primetime TV.

K-1 are so full of shit. What did he do wrong? The ref gave Takeda every chance as he should have, his final fight ffs. The motherfuckers that should be punished (if anyone) are the people who made the fight. As if Takeda was ever going to beat Kraus. That was always a beating from bell to bell.

I agree, stuart. I really don’t see what Kakuda did wrong.

You guys call this “Basically he called 2 or 3 legit downs as slips, kept telling Kozo to fight when he was clearly dead, and even kind of pushed to doctors to let it go on when Kozo’s eyes were looking in different direction.” nothing?
